Honorees
Each year, WFA honors three women designers at its annual Designing Women event. The design fields showcased change yearly, recognizing the State's top women designers in each field.  The 2012 design fields are: Graphic Design, Photography & Theatre.

Bazaar
Guests at Designing Women also have the opportunity to meet Arkansas women designers of all kinds and purchase their wares in a bazaar area located in the event.  Applications to host a booth at the 2012 Designing Women event can be found on the Bazaar page.

More Celebrations
Calling attention to the many design fields employed by the honorees and vendors allows WFA  to draw a visible connection between women actively working in careers utilizing ESTEM (economics, science, technology, engineering and math) and its Girls of Promise program, a conference series held annually for 8th grade girls on college and university campuses across the state. A salute to three Girls of Promise Alumnae Essay Contest Winners, hors d’ouevres, beverages, and networking round out the event.

Proceeds from Designing Women allow WFA to award grants to deserving projects & programs and help support the Girls of Promise program which encourages girls to pursue careers in economics, science, technology, engineering and math – fields Arkansas urgently needs if communities and businesses are to prosper.
Dedicated to improving the economic viability of women and girls through focused philanthropic efforts in areas of education.
