Girls of Promise Conferences are day conferences designed to introduce eighth-grade girls to amazing women role models at a critical time in their development.

Vision -

The Girls of Promise vision is threefold:

to introduce 8th grade girls to professional women role models from an array of non-traditional, math, science, & technology fields;

to inspire girls to see the "big picture" and prepare for their future;

to show how math, science, and technology are used outside of school in daily life.

History -

The conference began in 2000 and has introduced over 2,500 girls to Arkansas women computer systems engineers, corporate executives, physicians, scientists, university presidents, and many more!
