Step-by-Step Girls of Promise Conference Registration
Please follow the steps below for your promising girls to attend on of the WFA's Girls of Promise Conferences!
1. Target up to 5 girls that you would like to chaperone at a Girls of Promise conference.
Invite each girl to attend the Girls of Promise conference with you! Explain the Girls of Promise program to each girl. Give each girl a Permission Form and explain that she will need to get a Letter of Recommendation. Set an internal deadline for both documents.
2. Register up to 5 girls (per chaperone) for one of the Girls of Promise conferences offered in 2010! Once you've completed the registration form, check your e-mail for a confirmation.
Saturday, February 6 - Girls of Promise at ATU - Registration Filled!Saturday, February 20 - Girls of Promise at ASU - Registration Filled!Saturday, March 6 - Girls of Promise at SouthArk - Registration Filled!Saturday, April 17 - Girls of Promise at UALR - Registration Filled!Saturday, May 1 - Girls of Promise at NWACC - Register here Registration Deadline Extended to Wed, April 28, 2010!It is generally a good practice to complete the registration form once you have received a Permission Form and Letter of Recommendation from each girl, but that is not a requirement.
3. If you have not already, submit a Letter of Recommendation for each girl at least 1 week prior to the conference. Again, if you have not already, collect a Permission Form for each girl.
4. Remind each girl about the conference, appropriate dress and any travel details the week of the conference! (Find this information in FAQs!)
5. Arrive to the conference at 8:15 AM on the specified day. Turn in the Permission Form for each girl present and enjoy the day!
