Volunteer Opportunities
The WFA's Girls of Promise Conferences are only successful because of the amazing women (and men!) who choose to share their time and talent with the next generation of women leaders!
Girls of Promise: Educating Our Future  This summer, the WFA is launching a volunteer-based research project. Data from the first 10 years of Girls of Promise conferences is just waiting to tell us all the effects of WFA's signature program!

Girls of Promise: Educating Our Future will 1) document how/if Girls of Promise has made a positive effect on the lives of participants, 2) document how/if Girls of Promise has made an impact on high school graduation rates and/or college attendance rates of participants, 3) provide a historical record of Girls of Promise conference participants and their experiences and 4) create a current alumnae contact list.

Volunteers are needed from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM between June 21 and August 5. Volunteers are welcome to join us for 1 hour or all day - once or every day! Specific duties will include logging survey data, typing participant promises, and calling program alumnae. A volunteer reception will be held at the end of the program as a small token of our appreciation.
