WFA's grant awards to programs ran by human service, educational, and charitable groups range from $3,000 to $10,000 and are awarded at the Foundation's annual Power of the Purse luncheon.
Projects/programs must assist Arkansas women and girls, in rural and/or urban communities, in achieving their full potential and should promote the improved educational status of Arkansas women and girls.
WFA has one annual grant cycle per year. The process begins with a Letter of Interest.
WFA utilizes Letters of Interest as a way for its Grants Committee to determine if your organization meets grant requirements and if your organization’s mission is in line with the mission of the Foundation. Letters of Interest for WFA's 2012 Grant Making cycle are due by 5:30 PM on Saturday, December 31.
If, after submitting a Letter of Interest, your organization is invited to submit a full proposal, a Proposal Summary & Supporting Information is due by 5:30 PM on Thursday, May 31,2012.
WFA has awarded 88 to $207,419 programs since its first grant making cycle in 1999.
For those interested in serving on one of WFA's Grant Making Committees.
