Grant Making: Serve on a Regional Committee
WFA's Grant Making program promotes ideas and supports
projects & programs that assist Arkansas women & girls in
achieving their full potential. WFA will use specific criteria
in evaluating grant requests to ensure that grants fulfill the
parameters of its mission. Grant-making committee
members will receive training in understanding WFA grant
guidelines, evaluating requests, and making site visits.
The Women’s Foundation will oversee and facilitate the
activities of these committees. The committees will
function as “satellite” grant-making entities for the
Foundation – making recommendations for grants
addressing issues pertinent to women and girls in their
area to the Board Grants Committee for consideration. Limited number of roles available each year.
