WFA has one annual grant cycle per year, beginning with the submission of Letters of Interest. WFA's 2012 Grant Making cycle calendar is:

- Letter of Interest Response: Week of January 30 to February 3, 2012
- Grant Proposal Deadline: May 31,2012 (5:30 PM)
- Site Visits Conducted: June 1 through August 20, 2012
- Grant Notification: Week of September 10 to 14, 2012
- Grant Awards: October, 2012 at Power of the Purse luncheon
