Power of the Purse 2011 Volunteer Opportunties
Limited volunteer roles available to support the Power of the Purse event.  Volunteer roles are listed below according to time commitments. 

  • Event set-up: responsible for placing table name cards, stanchions, programs and otherwise setting up tables inside the ballroom. (9:00 – 10:00 AM)
  • Ushering guests: help guests find their tables. (10:00 – 11:45 AM)
  • Shuttle volunteers: ensure that guests arriving in the overflow parking easily access the provided shuttles. Volunteers will take the last shuttle (around noon) to the Convection Center and will serve as "human arrows" to mark the shuttle pick-up location for guests taking the shuttle back to the overflow parking area. (10:00 – 11:45 AM) (1:30 – 1:45 PM)
  • Clean-up Volunteers: collect donation envelopes and help pick up discarded programs, etc. This volunteer role will include handling money. (1:30 – 1:45 PM)
