Women's Foundation of Arkansas began in 1998 when 100 women realized that by pooling their gifts, they could make a lager impact on the lives of women and girls than they could individually.
Since its founding, WFA continues to award strategic grants and has expanded its approach to provide key services to the women and girls of Arkansas. Join these visionary women to help ensure the futures of Arkansas's women and girls by making your gift to the WFA.

Special Events & Publications
Show your support for the WFA by attending our special events, Power of the Purse and Designing Women, or contributing to our publication A Celebration of Women.
Learn how one donor's "small purse" can create a "big impact" through everlasting change in communities across Arkansas. Each year, WFA awards grants and honors a "Woman of the Year in Philanthropy" at the Power of the Purse event. Guests also hear from an inspirational woman philanthropist and learn about the "State of the Foundation". Reservations, Sponsorships & Volunteer opportunities are available.
WFA's re-designed Designing Women event is a fun night out celebrating Arkansas women designers and supporting education-focused programming for women and girls. Each year WFA recognizes the State's top women designers in three fields. Guests have the opportunity to meet Arkansas women designers of all kinds and purchase their wares in a bazaar. Reservations, Sponsorships & Volunteer opportunities are available.
WFA's A Celebration of Women publication provides a forum to publicly honor those who have made contributions to the advancement of women and, in particular, women's philanthropy. Personal Tributes and Corporate Advertising is available.
