Volunteer Program
Volunteers are critical to the mission of the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas.  Each WFA initiative relies on teams of dedicated volunteers to further our mission within the state – through board and committee membership, fundraising events and programs and assisting with administrative work in the office.  


Fundraising Event Volunteer Roles
Both the Power of the Purse (click for opportunties) and Designing Women events utilize the support of volunteers in roles such as: event set-up, guest check-in, photographer, videographer, event clean-up, other roles specific to each event.  Roles available day of scheduled events.

Girls of Promise Conference Volunteer Roles
Girls of Promise conferences utilize volunteers in roles such as: conference set-up, team leaders, speakers (STEM related), photographer, videographer, conference check-in, morning escorts and more.  Some roles available before conference date, most roles available day of scheduled conferences.  Click here for opportunities.

Women of Promise Event Volunteer Roles
Women of Promise events utilize volunteers for guest check-in and photographer roles.  Roles available day of scheduled event.

Office Volunteers
Many opportunities are available for those interested in volunteering at the WFA office during from Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM through 5:30 PM.  Duties include including filing, answering phones and data entry.  Click here for opportunities.

Please Note:  Beginning on Aug 1, 2009 all volunteers must complete the appropriate online registration form to volunteer with the Women's Foundation of Arkansas.
