Women of Worth Campaign
This is the second decade of the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas. Building on the vision of our 100 founding women, and honoring this milestone, we are challenging 200 women from across the state to give $2000 to help make the women’s Foundation of Arkansas an even stronger organization that is able to positively impact the lives of more women and girls across our state.
Historically, women uniting for a common cause has brought great results. In this case, we can ensure that the women and girls of Arkansas – both in rural and urban communities – have every opportunity to acquire the necessary skills and guidance to build self-sufficiency and achieve success. The 100 women of the first decade made a personal statement about their own values by establishing the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas. They were driven by a desire to improve the state and improve the lives of women and girls living here. We, in the second decade, have the luxury of simply following their lead and continuing this great work.
Please take a moment and think about what making a gift to the Women of Worth Campaign can do for the women of Arkansas. In our first decade, the Women’s Foundation was able to give out almost $200,000 in grant money. By building the endowment, this campaign will give WFA the ability to provide more grant money to worthy organizations. Your gift will be split among three endowments and a small portion will go toward current operating expenses.
The endowments will receive:
